What Happens To All The Slaves Now?
It turns out, all of the slaves were set free immediately after the Civil War. So, the North’s solution to ending the Civil War started the Civil War. However, this had a positive outcome, since the North won and got all of the slaves freed immediately. For America, united as one nation now, there have not been any fights like this up until now. In the world, there has not been a war with more deaths than the Civil War’s 718,000. There have been more serious wars and with better weapons, but this had to have the most. The 618,000 is only the soldiers, too. As many as 100,000 civilians were killed, along with 650,000 slaves. The bad part of it is that none of the slaves knew how to live independently. Freeing the slaves also put a big blow in the economy, since the huge plantations now had no workers. That problem was very big, but it was solved, so everything was well for now.
